Restoring range of motion (ROM) before and after knee surgery is crucial to optimal post-surgical outcomes. You can’t fully recover from any knee surgery and expect long-term success without regaining full ROM.  Some patients can even avoid knee surgery by improving their ROM and the IdealKnee is the easiest and most affordable device allowing patients to continue treatment outside of the PT office.

[IdealKnee] is an awesome product! This is the most cost-effective device for treating knee extension issues that I know of.  There are plenty of expensive, cumbersome machines to treat knee extension, but the IdealKnee is so easy and portable I suspect patients will use it with more regularity.  I am glad to hear the IdealKnee is now available to everyone. 

I have always had tight muscles in my lower extremities and being a physical therapist I know how important it is to maintain flexibility. It feels as though there is a partner there with you advancing the stretch each time. I would highly recommend this device for patients because they are able to use techniques such as contract-relax by themselves and in the meantime relieving pressure from their lower back.
